Day 1
Jesus arrived in Jerusalem riding a colt and was greeted with a hosanna shout. He went directly to the temple.
Day 2
Jesus went to the temple again, and overthrew the tables of those selling products and exchanging money on temple grounds. By doing so, Jesus challenged the authority of the Jewish leaders, who had approved of these activities on temple grounds.
Day 3
Again, Jesus went to the temple. This time he was met by Pharisees and Sadducees and was questioned by them. Jesus called them hypocrites, which further angered the Jewish leaders. From this point on, Jesus preached only to His apostles. The Jewish leaders began to plot on how to arrest and kill Jesus, but feared how the public would react. While they were plotting, one of the apostles approached them and offered to betray Christ.
Day 4
Jesus knew what was going on, and likely spent the day outside of Jerusalem. The four gospels are silent about what happened on this day. [It is my personal opinion that Christ spent the day teaching His apostles.]
Day 5
Jesus and His apostles commemorated the Passover in a private home, and Jesus taught of the sacrament ordinance. He also teaches of His death, and reveals who will betray Him, and Judas Iscariot leaves. Jesus also offers His intercessory prayer. Later that night Jesus and the remaining eleven apostles travel to the garden of Gethsemane, where three of the apostles were asked to watch over Christ as He prayed, and suffered for all the sins of the world. When they leave they were met by Judas Iscariot and a band of armed men, who Jesus submitted to as He was arrested. Jesus was then taken to an illegal trial.
Day 6
At this point Jewish leaders also wanted to publicly discredit Jesus before His death, so He was charged with blasphemy for claiming to be the Son of God, and for sedition of the state for claiming to be the King of the Jews. Although Pilate found Jesus to be guiltless, at this point the people were chanting for His death so he feared the judgement of men if he did not follow through, so Christ was sentenced to a crucifixion. Later that afternoon Christ willingly gave up the Holy Ghost, and that night He was taken down and placed in a tomb because it was considered improper by Jewish beliefs for a dead man to hang on the cross on the Sabbath, especially the day for Passover.
Day 7
We learn in 1 Peter 3:18-20 (KJV) that although Christ's body remained in the tomb, His spirit was ministering to others in the spirit world.
Day of the Resurrection
Many witnessed the resurrection of Christ, and it was recorded in the scriptures by many, making up the good news of the gospel - that He lives.
