Most parents worry about the nutrition that their kids are receiving from the food that they do (and don't) eat. What's a parent to do when feeding their child?
We were told to read these two pages in class and I found them to be pretty amazing:
Ellyn Satter's Division of Responsibility in Feeding
and
Children Know How Much They Need to Eat
In short, the parent will decide what the child will eat and where; the child will decide how much to eat and whether or not to eat it.
For more specific points on this, I'm really not sure how to put my thoughts into words. I mean, the articles make sense and I like them, don't get me wrong on that point. It's probably just that since I don't have children of my own that I really don't understand the application portion/working out the kinks that I don't know how to put into words.
So to all you worried parents out there - I hope the articles help.

This information came from a class specifically for learning how to make sure that kids got the nutrition they needed, and how to help them get it. The two articles above was only a small portion of the class, but still very good general information on what to do for your children's nutritional needs.
